Post Weekend – Mondays are hard

On Friday, I was down to 196.3, now on Monday I’m 198.8

I did eat more this weekend, but it’s a trip how easy it is to gain weight fast. I think it’s probably water and salt or something like that.

Still, I just wanted to get through the weekend sub-200..

Monday’s are hard. Not eating till 5 is tougher after a little splurging.

197.5 LBS – Don’t eat till 5pm.

So, it works. I’ve done 3 days of not eating till 5 or 530. then I eat two bowls of meat and salad with dressing. I go pretty light on the dressing, but just because I don’t like it swimming. A couple of teaspoons of PB later, and that’s it.

I was stuck over 200 for weeks. And then i got strict again, and boom.

I was stuck for a while at 201 to 201 and it wouldn’t move. I had been eating too early, starting at 3pm and sneaking in a couple bowls of cereal.

Bad.

Carbs just make you more hungry.

To move the needle, some days you just gotta starve. I didn’t eat till 530 yesterday and it worked. And I was less hungry today, strangely. I did the same today.

Hope to be looking at sub200 tomorrow with shorts on.

Shorts weigh .5 lbs and pj bottoms about .7 lbs.

203.5 lbs

Ok. It’s Wednesday morning. I’m down to 203.5. This is hard. It’s creeping by and I eat very little. Feel like it should be more.

Wonder what is ruining it? I’m going to read through my posts and see how progress really has been.

Maybe too many peanuts or peanut butter. Every little bit must really count at this level.

EDIT: Ok, so I looked back. On June 9, one week ago it was 204.3. So, that’s about a pound per week. That sucks. I have been doing 20/4 time restricted eating. I really should have lost more. Damnit.

After the cheat day weekend. Not too bad. Actually, over 205 then down to 205 later in day.

I got hungry today. It’s hot and I didn’t sleep well. These days are a challenge.

But, I did good. Held to it.

Really want to break 200. Looking at probably two weeks. Man, this is slow. And I’m freakin hungry half of the time. Crazy.

The hunger did subside a bit, though, before I ate. That’s promising.

I weight myself in the morning. Not every morning, but most. I was down to 205.8 or something, and now I’m at 206. 5

I haven’t been pigging out, but, maybe I’ve eaten more. I’m not sure.

I am wearing sweatpants instead of the normal pjs during weight in. Should try to keep it consistent. Always the same clothes.

Sometimes, you’re just going to be hungry.

But, it’s definitely less if you don’t start the day with anything with sugar or, well, anything. No calories. You already ate it. It’s sitting on your body. Get used to being hungry sometimes. It will pass.

Cheat foods are almost not worth it. They do give a rush of pleasure, but I swear I’m hungrier after I eat them than I was before!

Update: Post-Covid lockdown

Covid lockdown is ending.

I was 213 a week ago. I have a fatty liver now and some weird digestive things going on.

I am 206.7 now.

I am doing IM fasting. About 20/4 or so. Maybe more like 22/2.

Black coffee only before. And maybe tea. Sugar and milk just made me more hungry.

It’s easier not to eat, than it is to eat just a little.

Today, I’m not even hungry for some reason. Not yet and it’s already 3pm. It’s been going great and it’s easy.

I try to eat well in my eating window, but I did eat half a can of spaghettios and meatballs. Mostly, though, I eat shredded meat on salad with dressing.

I have one piece of bread, too. On the weekend, I’ll eat more freely. Then, back to this. Maybe only splurge one day, though. This is going good. It’s working, and I am starting to feel good.

oh, it’s been about a week. so probably a lot of water weight, but we’ll see. better try to drink more fluids, besides just coffee.

wtf. whatever. IF with no restriction might not work. couple more days like this, then gotta change if i’m not seeing progress.

Reset – 2020

Ok, it’s been a while. We’re 3 1/2 months into Coronavirus lockdown, and I’ve been eating really badly. I was a cookie junkie for two months. I wasn’t doing great before this, and now it’s worse. I’m up to 213lbs. Ack. I started IF again. 16/8. But, I’m going to have to really control what I eat during the 8. I haven’t done that yet.

Ah, well. Here we go again. I need to lose weight. Make me more resistant to Covid19, too

ps. I never did 300 bikes rides. ugh.
